Susan Boyle sings "Cry me a River" in 1999

Either this shows that we have missed out on Susan Boyle's talent for 10 years or this news-event is one of the greatest hoaxes in Scottish history. Hard to image that something like this could be faked though. Blackburn, West Lothian is a village. Can't lie much in a place where folks know your business and Susan stands out. This is from 1999, when Susan recorded her track for the charity compilation CD at Whitburn Academy, according to the Daily Record:

"Cry me a river" would be a good song for the second round, IMHO. It would show her command of a different technique and style. Would almost guarantee her the "crown". B-t-w, the 'old' recording of "I dreamed a dream" is over 21 million hits. Seems so long ago ... *Smile*

However, this is the standard by which all others are measured, Julie London's awesome recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByUOFV5TusE
