April is National Poetry Month and Robert Lee Brewer, the editor of Writer's Market at WritersMarket.com has challenged all poets to write a poem a day in April. To take the challenge all a poet has to do is go to http://blog.writersdigest.com/poeticasides on April 1. This year an ebook is being published containing the top 50 poems written in National Poetry Month.

I've found that writing a poem every day is challenging in itself. However, I think I'll go the website on April 1 and see what the challenge is all about. Sometimes I have not difficulty writing a poem everyday and sometime I find it difficult, but it's usually worth the difficulty if I attempt daily poetry writing.
