MILLSTONES and MILESTONES:

My blog is blue, BLUE, wonderfully B.L.U.E.

But that too shall change. *Smile* January has been a "blue" month of blogging every day. Probably won't happen again this year. If I travel like I've promised myself or find a life ... anyone know where I can find a cheap one? ... *Rolleyes* ... I'll miss days. And that is good. I'm rarely at a loss for words and I do write e.v.e.r.y day, but I need a break now and then, a blogation.

Speaking of vacation ... I priced trips to Costa Rica:

1. MSO to SJO = $772.
2. MSO to MSP by bus (24 hr.) = 130 + MSP to SJO = 450; so $580 total.
3. MSO to MIA by bus (78 hr.) = 198 + MIA to SJO (direct) = 203; total $401.

How much time and aching do I want by ground-bus as opposed to air-bus? *Rolleyes* I'm being opaque-on-purpose because I'm sure all-y'all know the codes. *Wink* Anyone besides Wren ever fly out of GEG?

I twisted the snam suad template (mentioned a couple entries ago). However, it should be obvious what it means ... if not, I am either too opaque or you haven't had the experience (a city person may truthfully not have). Originally the two verses were reversed. Love scribbling on paper; love editing on line. *Bigsmile*

blah blah blah:

Went to breakfast with Lavinia and had a wonderful potato-bacon soup at the Hob Nob; took a long walk and found a lonely lutefisk and brought it home (Thomas has already sent his condolences); finished reading a book.

The sun came out and shone and shone and ... it was disgusting ... almost felt cheerful here, so I took some photos and wrote down what I observed (as recorded in "Orange to California), including the osprey nesting site. Scored a bottle of chardonnay abandoned in the snow. It's sitting on the sill waiting for the sun to stream through its pale gold glass.

Geniah, Haniah-the-barista-at-the-Break's sister, said she didn't know anyone with that name. Well, I told her I would google it. 2,500 hits! And the state where it is used the 'most'? Missouri. (ya warmed up yet, Tor?) Googling can be fascinating fun. *Smile*

PROMPTS FOR THE DAY:

Titles I know you'll want to use:

"Wailing the Lonesome Lutefisk"
"Stalking the Wild Haggis"
"Disposal of the Carrot Head"

SUPERBOWL GNU'S:

Since me Bills ain't playin', I ain't watchin'. *Pthb* But iffen you is ... make some wings like at Frank and Teresa's Anchor Bar on North & Main (just outside th' Buffalo city limits of 1832). N pliz, don't bread'm! Just deep fry n toss in a bowl wi' Frank's Hot Sauce n butter. N they ain't "buffalo" wings, just "wings"; I suggest ya use chicken instead:
