To Klaus, to window nooks, to a water dragon breathing ...
Winter Storm Klaus

A severe winter storm hit northern Spain with gusty winds over 100 mph in Galicia and Asturias. Southern France was also hit bad. I know folks from Vigo, Ferrol, Santiago, Pontevedra.

Just a reminder for those in the Ohio Valley under an inch of ice or a foot of snow that it can be worse. Should get 8-10 inches at my mother's. She lives near Fivesixer . The ice storm hit where I lived in Oklahoma too.

Here it is 1 above zero with light snow. Cold but bearable.

To a window nook

This is as good as it gets:
that corner between geraniums
and the Japanese print,
where he sometimes sits
with the sun streaming in
through glasses filled with colored water.
Between rainbows recorded on plastered wall
and blue sky hovering
over snow on the mountains,
what flowers will bloom if not this:
thoughts and words
and flows of unspoken bliss.

Written yesterday. I even took a picture. I keep geraniums in the window, glasses of colored water. My chair is high-backed winged. To say this room is cozy is to be generous about it's size. *Smile* I wanted to hold off posting this until I had the picture on-line, but with the fearsome weather some are experiencing, I thought it would be appropriate today.

BLAH BLAH BLAH:

The sun is nowhere to be found. It is cold. It is snowing. *Snow1*

Rory gave me a twin mattress. Better to sleep on except that I didn't sleep well. *Rolleyes* Wheezed after getting it up two flights of stairs. Do I need a vacation?

I wrote a postcard to a friend yesterday while sipping a pot of Purple Mountain Majesty (tea, very rose and citrus). No oomph to write a letter.

I am reading Twilight by Erin Hunter. *Reading*

PROMPT OF THE DAY:

To a water dragon breathing ...

I left a comment in Katya the Poet 's blog:

I could use someone special in my life ... we all could. Alas, I'm no Pisces. I'm
a water-dragon fire-breathing Aries. I'd probably scorch the clogs. *Bigsmile*

Katya quipped back: I hope someone special, who won't be incinerated, comes your way!
