27 degrees on a shy day
It's cold this morning. It was down to at least 33 by midnight. It got much colder by morning in this high plains semi-desert air. The moon looked beautiful hanging out in a clear sky. A sure omen of frost and freeze.

crystal moonlight
cold calm
two drunks huddle in blankets

I managed to eat sushi last night (Sushi.5 is delayed) and met with a group of poets arranging a Slam in the Wilma Theatre as part of the Montana Book festival coming up in a couple of weeks. Rory gifted me another pink geranium that I dragged home.

alas, my works of sushi

Me? I'm barely moving. *Rolleyes* When I came into my room last night I opened one window due to the heat. My radiator is still not on; but, this top floor (3rd) room has rooms on either side and south facing windows. This place was snuggly cuddly warm. I prefer cool.

Windows are shut this morning though!

geraniums bloom on the sill
accept bright light
deny the chill

It's cold. Montana dry cold. Time to take a shower, change clothes, get ready for meatloaf. *Bigsmile*

this shy day crouches
lays in wait
leaps like Jack Frost
