This time around

I want to lie down in your arms,
die, my essence melting into yours,

for you to do with my body what you must
like mud once dried, lust turned to dust.

I turn towards you so many miles away
to beg, "Come hither, hold me today".

I'm not in the mood for a lot of typing or editing. So, a short one. [A bit bumpy so I edited it after the first two comments]

ME:

Sat with Leland yesterday and mostly talked about sex and his lust for life. His poetic hero is Rimbaud. I finally finished a book of Bukowski he lent me.

Today I took the #9 bus that heads west towards the foothills of the Bitterroots. Took notes; saw horses. The #2 coming back was dismal. At the mall I found a candy store ... got some silver and maroon m&ms (UM's colors) to send east. I'm not in Kansas anymore.

Treated myself to potato-kale-sausage soup and an orange-cardamom milkshake.
