"At the beach" Merry-go-Blogs
At the beach

At the beach where mom will teach me
how and where and when to swim,
I might be scared, but once I'm out there,
I'll never come back in.

Ain't this cute? Perhaps a bit saccharine, but it does fit in with my "Mac Spike Family Productions" set of poems. *Bigsmile*

ME:

Did some packing, sorting last night; need to do more tonight. Didn't leave the house. I slept in later than planned, but I feel better than earlier this week.

Watched the movie "Glory days" which reminds me of how many seemingly little things of that time were of historical importance. 1966 and racism was overt, not like today ... hiding behind political correctness. Texas Western's (now UTEP) win over Kentucky (and Kansas) that year broke racial barriers at a time that LBJ's Civil Rights laws were still being resisted. It was a time of great upheaval and change.

BLOGVILLE:

Bit of a problem switching around blogs that dear friend Nada raised. I really not sure how to correct it. I guess if I switch while you are reading or leaving a comment it can cause problems. My apologies. I truly wish I could have more than one blog listed as such. My writings are so diverse and that's good, but sometimes I need to focus, and focusing is difficult for me.

Have you ever made an entry with various items? I usually do. Sometimes the mix is important stuff with the mundane, funny with the very serious or sad. It isn't hard to pick one item one wishes to respond to, but the response to the funny part of the blog or someone else's comment may not sit right with the blogger when he/she is looking for serious comments. We all do this and must not take offense when it happens.

Or ... something VERY important may be totally overlooked, lost in the mix of the rest of the blog. I guess I could do single short focused entries one after the other like AL , but I've chosen to do this.

So, I have a blog folder for all my blogs now. What I affectionately refer to as my Merry-go-Blogs.

My blog will rotate between:

"Watt's Gnus"   [18+] by Kåre Enga in Montana which will be for news and opinions.
"Nurture your Nature"   [13+] by Kåre Enga in Montana which will focus on my images and nature.
"Hoarfrosts from Hell"   [GC] by Kåre Enga in Montana will continue to let out my angst. I may make parts of it public ...
"L'aura del Campo"   [13+] by Kåre Enga in Montana my original blog is still on line, but is too full. Old comments are hidden until I reactivate it. Old comments are NOT lost! Which is a relief, believe me.

At WDC we can only have one blog at a time. Them's the rules, like it or not. Even us Premium players get to have only one player on the floor at a time. The others sit on the bench. While the prima-donna is out there gathering comments, the others must wait till it's their turn. Wish it were different. Maybe the SMs could make a wee change to encourage Blogville ... ?
