A Little Rain

Friday was a very busy day. We had 2 appointment with the psychiatrist at Children's Hospital who manages the medication for both children. Because of that, we had to cancel Kellye's appointment with her therapist. I hated to do that, but the meds are important, too. After reconsidering recommendations from the therapist in Memphis as well as some things Kellye had to say also, she agreed that we might want to add a mood stabilizer. She is continuing with the same dosa of Lexapro, and ant-depressant, and adding a small dose of "Abilify", which is a mood stabilizer. She said to keep a close eye on her behavior, and wants to see her in 5 weeks.

She also increased Tony's medication for ADHD, because he as grown a lot, and because the teacher has complained that he is having trouble staying on task. The adjustments in the meds make me feel better. But I am still so anxious to be a real parent to my chldren. To beavle to enforce rules without worrying about them going ballistic!

I don't have time to finish. We did meet with our new family therapist and my initial reaction to her is very good. I'll write more later when I am not being rushed by miy daughter.
