Call me Pansy
Call me Pansy

A pout,
the knowing glance.
You won't forget her fresh scrubbed face,
her barest tint of blush.
You know this.
And she knows you know.

Based on Georgia O'Keefe's "White Pansy" 1927:

ME:

Went to hear Scandinavian music last night. It was potluck so I took molte (multe, hjortron i svensk) from Sweden: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloudberry As the violins were screeching through their melancholy tunes. I watch them dance the Schottis, but wasn't in the mood to get up off my chair and sat there with Janet (who wanted to dance and should've.) Ran into Stephanie, which wasn't a surprise. The three of us have Swedish blood as did some other folks. There were even Norwegians among us! *Laugh*

IMAGINE:

Cotton snowing, a scattering of ash and pompoms, a trickle in the ditch, the sidewalk barely damp; a coat of brindle fur walking his dark-haired mistress; grey sky and piercing sun, a canopied green shade.

Kansas: Sunny at 18:00 and 86º. ** Image ID #1329288 Unavailable **
