Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills. |
Kansas intonations Mark barks: BANG! Bang. bang ... His voice trails off to a mumble; it's time to go, clock out. At 5 each day, he bangs his drum's percussive pout, and then the hum of trailing off to home. © 2008 Kåre Enga [165.68] 2008-05-14 This is based on speech patterns that seem common around here among men. A loud 'punch' followed by mumbles. Drives me nuts. ![]() ME: Walked to my appointment. Missed the bus by a minute and the driver apparently didn't see me running. Well, moving fast ... if I run I get to wheezing and that is not good. So I had a pleasant walk; took me an hour. I saw an almost new Hyundai Accent with the right sticker price yesterday ... transportation would be nice. I started putting down the costs on paper as to whether it is doable. Can't live in an Accent, so overall costs must be looked at. Which is why an RV and a moped still must be considered. Sssshhhhh ... don't tell anyone, but I'm not in the mood to blog ... ![]() WATT'S GNUS: Well, Buffalo got it's championship. It ain't no S-ing Stanley Cup, but it'll do! ![]() http://www.bandits.com/newsarchive.cfm?id=705 Kansas: warm and sunny day, cooling now around midnight. ** Image ID #1295354 Unavailable ** . 4909 |
