ME:

I'm back home, so give me a few minutes to read my mail and I'll be posting a few thoughts.

... A few minutes later ...

The bus ride had some tense moments. Could it be the moon? 30 minutes late out of St. Roberts. Overbooked which delayed us an hour in Joplin. Bad vibes in K.C.

Folks coming from the east had it worse. 6 hours or more stranded at a closed Greyhound station in Evansville, Indiana because the electrical system went out and St. Louis didn't send a bus as promised. 6 hours! Plus they had a man on the bus who shat up and down the aisles twice (once on each bus). Most everyone had lost their connections and weren't too happy.

I got in late without a ride home but Mark's girlfriend gave me a ride most of the way. Earlier, Trevor was a hoot.

Buses are amusing even when aggravating.

I have written two more FTL responses but will post tomorrow.

WESTERN MISSOURI IMAGES:

Hedge rows and fields, an abandoned house, a circle of trees where a house must've stood once, new homes, raggedy tin cap of a silo looking like a tattered tin man lost in Oz, a sign in Peculiar: Peculiar Past and Present ... leaving me wondering whether I should move there and make it my future.

Kansas won its game against Texas and got a #1 seed in the NCAAs. So a photo of the bell tower:

Kansas: 40 degrees just before midnight.
