         Today we had a power outage for a little over an hour at about 1:00pm.  Afterward we found out there was a major outage throughout the State of Florida and that eight (I think is what I heard) major power grids were out and 4.5 million people were without power.

         Just before I left for lunch, a lady slammed into a truck and a car in our office parking lot --- pushing the truck several feet into a sporty Mitsubishi(sp?) driven by a girl I work with.  She was livid.  This is the second time her car has been in an accident when parked.  The last time a car came careening off U.S. 19 and landed on top of her car while she was in a dance club with friends. 

         So, as you can see, it was a pretty "eventful" day down here in sunny St. Petersburg!
