Midnight Rose
Midnight Rose

         at A Carousal for Missoula

She canters
spinning me out-of-control.
Her sleek black back bucks
up-and-down;
her pace speeds up
as I hold on
to roses.

Her music makes me
go 'round and 'round
until I wonder
how long Eternity can last.
At last the spinning slows
and I get off the Midnight Rose.

I can almost hear her snicker.

And here she is!

One uses tokens. I have one for Red Ribbons:

ME:

I leave tomorrow (Monday). I am glad I came here.

But ... it would be difficult for me to live here unless:

1. I could find some place cheap.
2. I would need windows and a full spectrum light to get me through the dark of Winter.
3. I would need to live downtown or nearby to utilize the buses.
4. I would need a bicycle or moped. I wouldn't need a car.
5. I really like the people here; but, I seek diversity and I haven't seen much; although there is class diversity.

I will return. Everyone says after April, maybe June is best. I may not want to wait that long. One week should do though. More is tough in Winter unless I rent a car or stay right downtown. It's cold and dark and the dark is not good for me and the cold seeps in since I have a ways to walk.

Makes me want to visit Tulsa even more! *Bigsmile* I can do Oklahoma in the winter, especially February and March. Oddly (to some), Dakota or Minnessota may be good in January. December? Costa Rica *Laugh* ... next year?

December is my absolutely worse time of year.

I'm okay today.

Yesterday I went to Taco del Sol and stayed inside the hotel watching 'Runway'. I guess that's okay because once I return to Kansas, I have no television.

... the real solution ...

Find someone to snuggle with and to hell with the location!

Montana: 37º and dark.
