What floor, please? First poems have flown off.
What floor, please?

         for John

He pushes the button; but,
it won't go sideways.

He wears a sticker:
"dollar off".

He hopes that someone
redeems him, buys him

for the love he's got.

Go ride the elevator.
Hold his heart.

PUBLISHING:

Sent off my first victims ... er ... poems:

"Canada's Son" (previously published in Ontario Amateur Hockey Magazine)
"California"
"A Question for Third Father's Day and Dad's Response" (actually a combination of two poems)

I sent them to: Lilliput Review. Now the waiting begins! *Laugh*

I think it will get easier after a few weeks. The goal is to do this 20/month.

IMAGES:

Yesterday: a half moon hanging out in the wesrtern sky at noon. Color me *Confused*.

Thursday evening: a bunny trying not to become dinner.

Today: the 'winter' sunlight is slanting in the windows, too hot inside, too cold out.

Jonathan is back in town ... looking fairly much the same as he did in this photo.

Kansas: 44º and *Cool*.
