end of the month rush

It's the end of the month, and we know what that means, right? Overload of work for the procrastinator! Actually I had almost everything done in about 4 hours this morning. I always start the last day of the month thinking, "I can't do all this work! This is too much for one person!" A few hours later, it's all done, though.

They're like a grittier Muse. I'm reviewing their 4 song demo for our Ezine this month.

I'm very proud of our feature article this month, on metal band, Beyond Fallen. They're the latest NEPA band to be signed (Melissa Records, a label from the Netherlands known for picking up US metal bands and sharing them with Europe and the rest of the world). The article has a bit of an "anti-NEPA" slant to it, and I'm happy about that. I just hope people don't get too pissed about it. Then again, maybe they should.

I'm not very happy with the music scene in Pennsylvania. It definitely needs to change. We have some awesome musical talent here, but no one seems to appreciate it. (Of course, there are handfuls of those who do appreciate the music, but overall the fans and venues need a wakeup call.)
