Spokane today
We'll be leaving in a few minutes to go to Spokane for the twins' seventh birthday party. Hoped to fly, but the weather is foggy again. *Cry* Seamus is happy though, 'cause he'll get to go too if we go in the car. Seamus is our old Bouvier, a good natured, deaf old fellow.

Since this is such a short blog entry and I may not get back to it later, I'll post this story that I like. I have a copy of it somewhere, but couldn't find it. Google found it. Isn't that amazing what can be found on the net?

A Cherokee elder sitting with his grandchildren told them, “In every life there is a terrible fight—a fight between two wolves. One is evil: he is fear, anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, and deceit. The other is good: joy, serenity, humility, confidence, generosity, truth, gentleness, and compassion.” A child asked, “Grandfather, which wolf will win?” The elder looked him in the eye. “The one you feed.”

This story applies well when I think about being annoyed and complaining, which I tend to do too often. Maybe even enjoy?
