firsts

A first happened for me last night. There's a rule that when you're talking to a reporter, and you don't want them to print what you're saying, you have to say, "This is off the record," or something to that effect. I had that happen to me for the first time last night.

Also, today when I was walking down the street, a man stopped me to tell me he thought I did a great job with my photo. (Last night's assignment ran in today's paper)
