Cleaning House

I know why I don’t like to clean house, because it takes so much time. I suppose if I did it more often it would take less time. I’m not actually talking about cleaning house here, I’m referring to cleaning out my e-mail boxes. They are just too full, I need to unsubscribe to a bunch of stuff, and then there is the spam and phishing (although I’m not sure what I can do about those except delete. I’ve got other things to do beside clean out and delete mail messages, but there is no other way to do it, at least not the way I’ve got my box set up. The problem is that I put stuff in folder and the only way to empty those folder is to delete everything into the trash.

I think part of my problem is impatience. I want it down right now and it takes a few minutes to delete anything. I have a phone connection and it seems to take longer then when I have access to my yahoo mail from a T-1 line. Well that’s enough complaining for a while. Once the folders are cleaned out and those I’m not going to use any longer are deleted it will be easier to read mail. I suppose I could do a little bit at a time rather than attempt to do the entire thing at once, but that would be too easy and it would probably make more sense.
