Convention

We're at the Dioscesan Convention for the weekend, so I probably won't have time to blog. We got here late. It started at 2, which irritates me because how many people with jobs can take a day off to be here. It shouldn't start until evening on Friday. We had a rider, an older woman in our parish who wanted to come spend the weekend with an old friend recently widowed. It took us about` 25 miles out of our way, so we were even later. Looked like there was something that started at 7, after dinner, and it was 7:30 when we arrived. We registered, then took off to find some Atkins permitted food--fast food salads which weren't very filling. Too tired to go back for the 9pm meeting. It starts up again at 7 am with morning meditation.
