I'll be back in a minute

I just cheated a little. Because we haven't had supper yet and it's a minute till 9, I put a few words in here and posted it; and in a few more minutes I'll be back to edit, mostly add a few more. Hold your places please.

At ease. Never mind. I don't have anything to say. Worked on a flash fiction while I was swimming today, and while I was waiting for my oil change and transmission flush that cost $100 more than quoted. Somehow didn't think up anything to blog on.

Haiku from my morning drive to work

Six stately geese marched
In a line around the pond,
Launched and paddled off.

Update on Arlene. She's living in her "cabin" on her property. Has a couch and chair in there, sleeps in a sleeping bag on the floor. Hauls in water. Has a rented porta-potty. Showers at the Y. There's a big work party at her place on Sunday morning. Not too convenient for us non-Adventists. Her son came. She's
still kind of in shock. Said she poured the shampoo into her hand one day and couldn't think what to do with it. Grief. She's a survivor alright. A brave lady!
