Am I jealous or not?
7 Nur 163 B.E. – June 10 – 11, 2006 A.D.

Intriguing, deep, philosophical question: “Am I jealous or not?”

Fascinating, not so deep, intimately revealing scenario: Ex husband, boyfriend, lover, significant other has started to date again, but denies it. Insists the woman your best friend saw in the car with him was his mother. Obviously, a person who doesn’t think fast on his feet, but the situation calls for (eyes roll) the you don’t expect me to believe that crap look. Then comes the statement, hopefully not spoken out loud “I am not even upset or jealous...” Followed a few minutes later by “…or am I?”, again hopefully not spoken aloud.

I’m sure that under the circumstance I wouldn’t be jealous myself. Under these circumstances I would want to know what other woman had such low self-esteem as to get mixed up with …. Oh, wait a minute, we’re talking about a fictional scenario here not fact is stranger than fiction reality. In a fictional scenario I could be jealous, in fact, a little green eyed monster never hurts a story and it carries the plot along. Especially if the little green eyed monster is a skin changers, a were-creature, maybe a were-leprechaun, I don’t think I’ve read a story with a leprechaun skin changer as a character.

So now I have a story with four characters (1) the ex, (2) main character talking to her ex, (2) main character’s best friend, and (4) the ex’s “mother”, but more than likely present girl friend. So who is the were-leprechaun? I suppose I could make the main character the were-leprechaun, or would that be too obvious? Moreover, how does one become a were-leprechaun anyway? Is the transformation the results of the bite of a leprechaun or finding the little fellow’s pot of gold?

The next question is “What name do I give the characters?” I could call the ex George, Jerry, or George Jerry. The main character M. J. or some other initial combination and the main characters’ best friend Samantha or Sammy or something like that. Now for the name for the ex’s new friend, how about Pepper Mint or some other candy sweet name.
