Good bye Carrie Nation?
It was a nice Sunday. We had a potluck after church, got a short nap in and then washed the RV. We had to go out to the airport to wash it, because our RV is a plane. We have a little Beechcraft Sport which is up for sale, and a flying instructor friend of ours was bringing out a customer for a look. They took it out, did three touch and go landings, and cruised in looking happy. It's a nice little plane. We named her Carrie Nation because her tail numbers are 1927W. In the phonetic alphabet, W is 'whiskey', and we figured that in 1927 there wasn't much of that available due to prohibition. Carrie Nation was of course a great leader in that cause, and we also wanted this little plane to carry us around the nation.
It will be a good thing if these folks decide to buy her, especially if the instructor will keep renting her out. We might get to take her up again some time.
