On Thursday my sister-in-laws grandfather passed away. He had been fighting cancer and in the last week it attacked with a vengence.

They had the viewing on Saturday, which my whole family went to. My brother has been very good at keeping both of his families (blood and in-laws) in touch. Anything to do with the kids, both sides are invited...has worked out well so far.

While I was there I was talking with Shelley for a bit and she was telling me the sweetest story about Justin. She was giving him a bath on Thursday and explained to him about his great grandpa dying. He thought for a minute then asked, "If I were to climb the tallest ladder and grab Papa's spirit before it reaches heaven and give it back to his body would he be okay then?" So sweet, yet breaks your heart at the same time.
