Growing Up

After a great email conversation with my wise younger cousin yesterday...yes, you Diane...I came to realize something about myself. My mind is growing up...just a little, don't worry, I'll still be my goofy self until I am taken to the clouds above.

I came to realize that I am emotionally and physically, working on the monetarily, ready to be in a long-term relationship and start a family. That womanly clock I hear so much about has finally turned itself on within me.

I don't think I am at the stage I am going to chase down the next single guy I meet and act like Kathy Bates in Misery; however, I am finding myself paying a lot more attention to the men I do see and instantly looking at his left hand before turning away.

They say you find someone when you least expect it and you just have to have patience. I think up until this point I have been rather patient and now it is his turn to come out of hiding...game over...I'm waiting!!!!
