noiseless fireworks
Tried going to bed early. Too excited to sleep. Airing in the wee hours of tomorrow morning on our local skyscape - meteor showers. Somewhere between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., we're supposed to be able to see oodles of trails of comet dust.

Lucky me. I can get up, watch the show and go back to bed a little while later.

And in the "can this be for real?" department, Cliff directed me to a certain website as we were discussing how to attract more hummingbirds (we've had one visiting the front porch lately) to look at some flowers he liked. I loved the late dutch honeysuckle, and I think we're going to plant some, but the real humdinger is the title and author of the third book listed on the right side of this page, under "for more information" first subtitle: books. Take a look:

edited on 4/23/06 --Well, this should teach me never to depend on a link. A webpage can be changed anytime, and now I'll never be able to remember the title of that book and the author's name. I remember it was funny as hell though.
