Getting Braver

This weekend I will be going to Toronto with Mark, his sister and our friend Tre. I am excited to go; however, I am a tad nervous either Mark or his sister or BOTH will end up getting on my nerves...trying not to think about that at the moment!

Anyway, at lunch today I decided to pop on over to Marshall Fields to see if I could spend my gift certificate on something to wear while in Toronto. In my head I was thinking of shorts or a fun top. Not sure if it is because my jeans felt extra loose today or because I am having a good hair day, but I put in my hand an article of clothing I have not purchased nor worn in years and proceeded to the fitting room...a mini skirt!

Before I put it on I had it in my head that it would either be too tight or I would not like the flesh that was revealed looked like, especially in a department store dressing room. I was mistaken...happily!!

Not only did the smaller size fit me, but I didn't hate what the mirror was showing me!! YIPPEE!! Now the true test will be if I still have this courage this weekend and actually wear it out of the hotel room!
