The Maid of Heaven
Suspended between
heaven and earth her joy lit
the darkness.

I have been thinking about this subject for some time and this is all I have come up with. I suspect this will not be an easy poem to write. I think my best approach is to collect all the quotations I can find on this subject. There are several quotes from the writings of Baha'u'llah that cover the subject. Once I have the quotations collected then I can meditate on them and see what else I can write on it.

Writing spiritual poems is not all that easy. Although I can come up with several ideas for spiritual poems, it is putting what I feel into words that is sometime difficult. When writing spiritual poems finding the right word to express a feeling or emotion is essential to the poem.
