The ups and downs of being single in your 30's...early 30's that is.

Smokers
This morning, like most mornings, Mark and I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to go for our 2 1/2 mile walk before work. We start out and are both still half asleep making every attempt to walk a straight line; however, someone walking behind us would think we may be a tad tipsy. *Smile*

After 10 or 15 minutes into the walk, about the time my heart rate has risen, my body is waking up, sweat is deciding if it is going to start or not, and my breathing is starting to get heavier, Mark lights up a cigarette. I am lightly panting to keep my tired lungs filled with enough air to prevent me from passing out on the neighbors lawn and he feels the need to puff away?! *confusion* What, his lungs were feeling too healthy so he needed to replace the pollutants that he may have released from them??

Yes, I am a non-smoker and I have absolutely no comprehension on the habit of smoking. Don't get me wrong, I do not nag at people for smoking and have friends, not many family any more, that do smoke. My philosophy is...if you are going to smoke might as well smoke weed so you at least are getting something from it other than a nasty tasting mouth!! *Bigsmile*
