A little something about nothing

Too Dang Cold!!

As I am driving to work this morning my car indicates that it is 6 degrees outside...this does not include windshield factor. I live in the north, I know this happens every year, but it is still cold. That is not the bad part.

I get to work to find that our office is completely without heat. The thermostat says it is a lovely 58 degrees. Needless to say I instantly turned on my space heater and never removed my coat. The others come in and complain about no heat and turn their heaters on as well. My boss even kept his coat on. By 9ish he, my boss, said it was crazy to work under these conditions and we should finish up what we are doing and leave. I was so excited!!!

Then I remembered I work with two frickin' work-o-holics! They said they would be fine and if they needed to get warm they'd just run to their cars for a bit. How stupid is that! Much to my displeasure, it is 3:46 p.m. and I am still at work!! The only good thing is the heat finally came back on at 2:30 p.m.

I understand being dedicated to your job, but that is a little overboard to me...or maybe I just wanted a Friday afternoon off!!
