Something New

I really don't have anything too exciting to report, but it feels like forever since I have wrote anything so here we go.

Oh wait, there is one exciting thing...I am getting a new car tonight. Well, not really a car, I am getting a new Jeep. My lease comes up in February and I received a letter for an early buy-out option. I had debated on buying out my lease, getting a new SUV or possibly even a new car. I looked at the ads over the weekend and found a deal on the Jeep's and decided I would call on Monday and wait to hear the hidden cost added in raising my payment to some crazy amount. I was wrong!! My salesman, the same one who sold me my current vehicle, worked a deal and I will be paying $6 more than I pay right now. I love that man!! Don't get any ideas, he is a very nice elderly saleman...not my type!!

I am a little excited because I am finally getting the color I have wanted...NAVY!!! That is what I had originally wanted for the Jeep I have now, but they were out of stock and I was stuck with black.

Hmmm, what else has been going on...Oh, here is an update on Mr. Romeo. Can't remember what I last wrote so I apologize if I am repeating myself. We were supposed to meet on Sunday...tentatively scheduled through email...he has not called in 2 weeks. What is up with that?! I had emailed him either last Wednesday or Thursday letting him know Sunday would work; however, I play wallyball on Sundays so it would have to be a lunch date. I never heard from him until Monday morning...via email...AGAIN!! Apparently his great aunt had passed away and they had a brunch on Sunday. However, at the same time he tells me he hardly even knew her. So wouldn't it make sense that sometime between my email on Wed or Thur and Sunday Evening a 5 minute phone call could/should have happened??? Whew...okay, now that I got that off my chest. He suggested we meet on Wednesday...today. He plays floor hockey every Wed. and said I could come watch him play and we could meet for a drink after. Considering I have never seen him in person and I am so not a sports person, I told him I would meet him for a drink after instead of watching a bunch of guys running around and guessing which one he may be. Oh, wait...lots of guys running around, single girl...what was I thinking?! Then he replies saying we could meet at 8pm and that he is in the play offs so he will either be bummed that he lost or if they win they play again at 9:30. Do I really want my first meeting to be while he is upset at a loss or all hyped and ready for his next game and only have 45 minutes to talk after driving 30 minutes to get there? I think not! So, I just emailed him and am trying to reschedule for Friday. With his lack of communication these past couple weeks I am not so gun-ho about meeting him so if he declines I won't be completely heart broken...I hope anyway!
