Winding Down
Are you still popping by here? Awww *Heart* That's nice but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. *Bigsmile*

I'm not too interested in writing these days, as you can probably tell by the number of journal entries I've been posting lately. Many of the people I felt so close to and talked with on a daily basis I never hear from anymore. People tend to come and go very easily on the net don't they?

Once again I have an upgrade renewal notice in my inbox. It's not a good time to ask me to spend more money on something I'm getting little use out of. Maybe I'll feel differently in the future but for now I'm going to start copying and packing my items away so I'll be ready at the end of the month.

The Amazing Race starts again tonight and I'm thrilled!!!! I love that show. I hope they don't frig it up by trying to be too much like some of the other reality/contest shows though, (ie...bug eating and crap like that). I find it fascinating when they travel to various parts of this planet, going to spots I normally wouldn't go myself or ever see on any other TV program, (such as the rat temple in India. Now there's someplace I NEVER would have thought of going).

I LOVE airports for some reason and that's probably one reason I love The Amazing Race so much. I haven't been to an airport yet I didn't like. Go figure. In fact I love airports so much I once considered being a commerical airline pilot, until I realized my eyesight wasn't good enough. The math would have held me back too. I probably would have blurted something innapropriate out over the cabin speakers anyways. There's something about a mic and a captive audience that really appeals to my wicked side. I was once a duty officer for a hanger full of 1,000 or so, 12-18 year old air cadets. Up until then no one had ever used the hanger speaker system to play music or make stupid public service announcements.

"Attention in the hanger. Attention in the hanger. Cadet so and so from Squadron whatever is in desperate need of a hug and a wedgie. Thank you. Carry on."

That cadet would suddenly become very popular. Awww I had some fun times back then.

Well I best scoot.

Take care.
