All For Now

I expect today to be my last online for a while. I'm not sure when I'll be back. In a nutshell for those of you who don't know, I'm having my phone and internet disconnected. My local phone company claimed I made two calls to Africa (which I DIDN'T make).

Last night I opened April's phonebill and surprise, surprise...six more calls to Sao Tome. The bill's now over $450 dollars. Apparently it would have been another $200+ but three of the calls were only for one minute each. (The others were from 21 to 31 minutes each)

I won't whine on about how this is a blantant scam. I've done enough of that in previous entries.

I'm hoping to have highspeed internet connected shortly. (First I have to have this computer fixed. I need to get the damn African, trojan dialup virus taken care of) I'll be keeping my fingers crossed till the highspeed is installed though. I live about two miles from town. I had no idea they had the cables where I live.

I'm REALLY pressed for time. I'd hate this to be my final entry. The last thing I'll write here for the forseeable future. (The local phone company still has a monopoly on local phone service where I live. Thank goodness I may get highspeed where I live)

Just in case...

There's no time to list all the wonderful people I've met at this site. I've found all of you interesting. Some have become dear to me. A few have a very special place in my heart.
