the weight of humanity
this is a poem i wrote for english, i would add it to my portfolio but writing.com sucks ass, and they want me to pay for this. yeahhhh right........ so poem. it is a personification poem, the assignment was to write a moral outrage poem. ok...... here goes......

The Weight of Humanity

I feel as if carry the weight of humanity.
I am purgatory, only a step away from the fiery pits of Hell.
The doom within my calls crushes hope,
I reverberate the cries of anguish one hundred times.
I open their eyes to sin.
I can still smell the fear of my passengers,
I can still taste their longing for freedom.

I feel the weight of humanity’s innocence and sins.
Like an angel of death, I propel them towards their demise.
This weight is unbearable; I cringe at every addition.
I was not made to bare this burden,
I do not want to be this angel of death.

ok i am open to comments, later.....
