Things I have learned.....
In the last 2 months, I have learned a lot. SOme are serious, some are silly. But they are all realistic.....

- Never, ever, ever sit in front of kids on an airplane (had to learn this the hard way)

- Never put anything in your suitcase that you don't want the airport personnel to see....(also learned this the hard way)

- Never assume that you won't miss someone or something about someone

- Chicken wings are only chicken wings in New York

- Bison French Onion Chip dip tastes even better when you don't have it for a few months...

- Tim Horton's staff will remember you when you've gone there as many times as I have

- Home cooked food is so much better after being away

-You will gain weight when you go home after being away for a while....and (SHOCK SHOCK) this is okay!

-Kids who really love you will care more about you than the gifts you've brought them

-Churches are not the same everywhere, but you can be blessed no matter where you are

-Parents still worry- no matter how old you are

-There is nothing quite like eating breakfast on the couch that you've had for several years

-A child is never to big to sleep on your chest

-Kids grow WAY too fast

-There is nothing like getting off of a nerve racking flight and seeing people waiting for you

-I am still afraid of thunderstorms and confining space (I learned this on an airplane between Chicago and KCI during a Thuderstorm)

-That people do change

-That others remain the same

-That when you have finally grown finger nails, everyone notices because you obsess over filing them

- That Kato cannot say Hippopotamous

-That God did have a purpose for me to come to Missouri

-That it isn't about pride, attention or hate, but it is about love and friendship, and love in friendship.

-Spending 16 hours in a car is fun one way, but dreaded on the way back

-If your friendship is pure, you will never loose your best friend

-It is only a good idea to play "Evens or Odds" when on Darviset

-If you get lost in the City, take 5 west....it'll get you home. (This applies to Buffalo and Kansas City!)

-That my real friends will tell me when I am doing wrong, and encouarage me when I am doing right

-That even if you aren't frineds with someone anymore, they will remember that it was you who lead them to the Lord

-That jumping on an air mattress will bring you NO good at all!

-That I want to have hips like Jeremy's and a rear like Scott's!

-That sometimes you jsut have to sleep on the floor

-That you should only do the "I'm too sexy" crawl for certain people

-That it is good for you to hang out with someone that you normally don't.

-That everyone knows of Buffalo, NY because of the snow

-That you should think before you take a picture....or pose for that matter.

*So yeah....just some things that I have learned.

For those of you who would, please pray for my friends and I. A lot of us are fighting personal battles, and it is not a good thing. Pray that God open our eyes, so that we would see what He wants. Not what we want.

Because of Him,
Beckie
