I should have been there
Today, I went to pick up one of my consumers from work- now I do not work at that group home anymore, but she still comes home with me for the Holidays. Her name is Molly. And what a sweety she is! I helped her up the stairs at the house, and then she went towards the bathroom. I went into a bedroom. I heard a thud. I rounded the corner, and all I saw was her on her knees, blood everywhere. She had hit her head on the vanity. Another staff took her to the ER, and by the time I got there, her whole right side of her face was puffed up. I was only around the corner. I should have been there.
