I drive a shitty little car back from my shitty little job to my shitty little house...Guess you must think I've got a shitty little life huh?...

But guess what?...

I'm smiling while I drive my shitty little car back from my shitty little job to my shitty little house.

Why am I smiling?...

Don't I realize I'm driving a shitty little car back from a shitty little job to a shitty little house?

Yes I do...but I don't care...

I only worry about the stuff that keeps me awake at nights.

At least the shitty little car I'm driving...paint scratches and all...is MINE...As is my shitty little house...paint peeling off and all...is MINE...It's been a house with far more good memories than bad...I like coming home...I like being home...My shitty little job sucks...sometimes...but what job doesn't?...Of all the souls on this planet, I'm one of the lucky ones...I live in a great country...The people I care about are healthy and are all well fed...No one's trying to kill us...Most of my neigbors don't even lock their doors...They might be morons but they're freindly morons...I don't worry about tornadoes, terrorists, gangs, hurricanes, finding a parking space, earthquakes, garbage, poisonous animals of any kind, police harassment, flooding, smog, traffic jams, intolerant circus clowns who only perform for their paychecks and not because of the kids...Ummmm...best ignore that last one.

So I smile stupidly while I drive my shitty little car back from my shitty little job to my shitty little house...

And I sleep very well at nights...
