The Lady

The Lady has lived with me for many years.
She said, "I do" when standing before The Lord.
The lady has lived with me through many tears.
We stand assured by trusting His Blest Word.

The Lady has been my friend as none else could.
We've learned to garden and make works of art.
The best is one great daughter, and she's good.
The Lord regifts our love each new day's start.

We met these forty years ago as friends.
Tomorrow celebrates thirty-eight we blend.
