Being Late
Being Late

Being late has its compensations
to add to all our reservations.

Despite our famed notoriety
it’s well short of impropriety.

And though our frames are insubstantial
our gains are surely nonfinancial.

For now from cares we’re all released
advantage lies in being deceased.
