Barely Four Story Outlines
Barely Four Story Outlines

I needed two hundred and sixteen single sentences to finish writing my last four single-sentence Story Outlines. Unfortunately, it took me almost the entire day before I finished writing them. It was so bad I barely got them finished before I started writing this blog entry. That’s how barely it was.

It was a typical Saturday. My brother and I didn’t have a lot that needed to be done today. But what we did need to do took us several hours to get done. As a result, I only had about six hours to finish writing these four Story Outlines. That means it took me about an hour and a half for each one.

That’s about thirty minutes to set up the scene numbers for each of the six main characters and around an hour to write the single sentences. I don’t know how I did it, but I did. Once I started writing I couldn’t stop. The only thing that stopped me was what my brother and I needed to do today and it wasn’t as bad as it reads above.

Tomorrow, I will start working on my single-sentence Scene Outlines. I have been getting about a hundred and forty to a little over two hundred single sentences per Part or Episode so far. It will probably be that way for my Scene Outlines too. Hopefully, it will be closer to two hundred.

I need one hundred and eighty single sentences for every Part or Episode. That will equal one Part or Episode each day if I can keep up with the daily averages I have been getting. I’m hoping I can do a whole lot better than that daily. But I won’t count on that happening until it does. Especially, during the weekdays.

If I can average one Part or Episode every day, I will get these Scene Outlines done in six days. Unfortunately, I don’t think that will happen. After all, Monday is the first of July. That means another Short Story will be coming up with a prompt.

It probably won’t be on the first or second if past prompts have been any indication. But it should be out by the third. Once it comes out, I will be starting to work on it. Hopefully, it won’t take me too long to write it. But if it’s anything like the last few months, it may take me a long time to write it, maybe even the whole month.

Speaking of July the third, that is when my brother and I are supposed to return to our old place one last time to finish cleaning it out. That’s when we are supposed to do it. But we have been thinking about that for the last month and one thing or another has stopped us from doing it.
