Hours, Barely Seventy-Two

Another short blog entry maybe. First, I don’t have much to write about today. After all, I only got seventy-two single sentences written today for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That’s Episode Two single-sentence Story Outline, and I barely got it done before starting this blog entry.

What is the usual reason why I didn’t get more writing done in one day? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I needed to get done today. It was a typical Monday. My brother and I didn’t have a lot that needed to be done today. But what we needed to do today took us most of the day to finish.

It started early this morning for my brother and me and ended at almost sunset. As a result, I only had a couple of hours to work on this project. I barely got seventy-two single sentences written today, and it wasn’t easy for me to write them.

I had some problems with a lack of concentration. That’s another reason I didn’t get more writing done today. It was because I barely got about five hours of sleep last night. So, I had a lack of sleep today too. Between my lack of sleep and my busy day, I was weak and tired when my brother and I got home.

The lack of sleep, concentration, and being busy almost all day weren’t my only problems with not getting more writing. It was also because I barely got seventy-two single sentences written today. I should have gotten some more written today, but I didn’t.

What does that mean for this phase of my Water Wars scriptwriting project? It means I still have two more episodes to write before I finish writing my single sentences. After I get them written, I can start working on my single sentence Scene Outlines. I should be able to do that tomorrow depending on tomorrow.

I don’t know what my brother and I need to do tomorrow. But I’m sure there are some things we need to do. Hopefully, it won’t take us the full day to do them. If that’s true, I should have plenty of time tomorrow to finish my story sentences, but get started on Scene Outlines too.

It looks like this won’t be a short blog entry after all. I guess I had more to write about than I thought I did. That’s another mistake I have made. But this one is a good mistake. I don’t get them too often. Hopefully, I can make more mistakes like this one. Knowing me, I probably won’t make more mistakes like this one for a long time.
