Cheyenne Lore

Long and straight, the unporous shaft
hosting hundreds of fragile,
interlocking barbs, nature's craft
ensuring a smooth, agile
flight. Powerful, spirit of life,
unity and freedom, bold,
it cuts through the sky like a knife,
mahogany tipped with gold.
Predator-protector, balance the scale.
The sacred eagle feather, holy grail.
