Week 43 - Stillness
In stillness she lies
As if softly sleeping.
What is she dreaming of?
Can she still dream?

Left in the shallow water,
Floating lightly,
Did the one who placed her here
Do so with care?

It won't be long before her beauty fades;
Swallowed up in time eternal.
Who will think of her then?
Who thinks of her now?
