He was their seventh son
They named him for the Rising Sun
"Arun", their little boy
A bundle of light and joy.

Six years later
Another couple had a daughter
Naming her for the Holy Song
"Gita", in her values strong.

The Rising Sun and the Holy Song
Grew up, fell in love and before long
They had their own baby
Named Golden Girl, or "Sonali".

When Sonali saw the word 'Sun'
She thought of her Dad the one
Who had given her life, with 'Song'
In whose hearts she does forever belong.
