Well, there is one thing to say about writing a screenplay - it takes more time for fewer words than writing anything else.

Part of it is the fact you should format as you go (formatting afterwards is time-consuming, tedious and often results in mistakes). Part of it is that you have to write differently, with a lot more tell than show. And part of it is thinking very visually. I mean, I write with a distinct visual image in my head, but that is different to looking at things with the end-point being visual.

Even for something as cheap and tacky as what I am going for, it is such a different way of writing.

I am glad I am trying something different, going out of my comfort zone. I've written one other screenplay, but that was written with the idea it could also be done as a graphic novel. This is a pure, 90-minute-plus movie.
