Lovely Lucy Lillilamptree,
laughing like limpets leaving Lombardy,
lingered lightly, loosely, languid, long,
loitered lately, loving Leonard Lollybong.

Lo! Loyalty lasts least, like lamplight
low on ‘lectricity, left little lignite.
Leonard’s lies, lovely Lucy, lead lastly
to lachrymose lives, less leniency.
