I Didn’t Pick the Tools

‘Twas the day after the night before
and the cat had been fiddlin’ some more,
the cows had been moon jumping,
then to earth they came bumping,
while the dish, having eaten too soon,
was asking a ransom for the spoon.

Little Bo Peep departed this time -
she’d been in the wrong nursery rhyme.
