Peach Ponderings

The peach is such a funny fruit,
it wears a furry suit,
yet grows in countries warm and sunny,
the lands of milk and honey.

Its flesh is fresh and very juicy,
it runs down chins quite loosely,
but in the centre bides the stone,
old and wrinkled, a dried-out crone.
