The Original Logo. Prompt: "If you could be paid for doing anything you wanted full time, what would you do? When you were a child, what did you dream of doing when you grew up? Then, take some time to research “unconventional” jobs (ie. hot air balloonist, deep sea invertebrate researcher, professional table tennis master, etc) and share one that you think you would be good at or would be fun to try."

I already do what I want to do at my full time volunteer position. I work full time as community care ministries secretary and men's club treasurer at the Salvation Army Huntington WV corps social services office. We we just talking this morning about how it is a labor of love. You either love this job or you hate it. There isn't a whole lot of middle ground with it. Some times clients are heartwarming and at others their stories are heart breaking. They run the spectrum.

Just as a side note, I know I am suppose to read the other blogs and comment on them. I really don't have the time to do that. If I can I will but as it stands right now I don't have time. I will do what I can.I signed up not because I expected to win,but just to have another forum tobkog with. I really enjoy it. Thank you.

What do you think? is this true or not?"

My grandpa always had a very similar expression that said "Life is ten percent what you experience and ninety percent what you make it."

I agree with this statement. I know that life for me has turned out to be ninety percent how I respond to it.If my attitude sucks then more than likely my life will too. I am a Christian so I usually have a pretty upbeat, positive attitude. I know people who's attitude seems to come straight out of hell. They are always grumbling, never happy, and generally very miserable.

Blog City image small "Take a walk in the park, and get inspired by what you see and hear. Write a short story or poem. Or give us some tips for a great picnic if that kind of writing isn’t your thing."

It wouldn't be so much what I saw in the park that turned my crank as it would be what I heard. I just got new hearing aids and did not realize how much I needed them. Now I hear the birds singing, water gurgling, frogs chirping, all of it.
