| Prompt: You come home after a three day weekend to find a surprise. What do you find? The utility pole was broken in half. We. had no electricity. Our computer box was damaged. We had no internet. Our nine feet tree was covered with toilet paper. Our mail box was damaged and sitting in the cornfield. Do I want to go inside the house? The house is fine. We had no electricity. We called the electric company. They were going to send someone else to fix it. We called the telephone company. They would send someone else to fix the internet. My husband went to town to buy a new mailbox. We only have one neighbor. He was out of town for a week. He would probably have no electric or internet. These things did happen to us but not all at once. Tractors hit the internet box because of their combines. A drunk hit our utility pole twice. Our poor tree was attacked by toilet paper. Our mail box was damaged twice. Surprise! |
