"June is busting out all over/ all over the meadows and the hills." The song was written for the play Carousel. It is certainly appropriate, because everything here is growing fast. Where things were grey, brown, or black it is all green. This year it seemed to me that the green was taking a long time to show itself. Then one day there it was all at once.
